As usual, this will be a hands-on session. Software packages required for demos: python (2.X), numpy, scipy, matplotlib, f2py, gfortran. These should all be on your laptop already, except possibly for f2py. Please install any missing ones with apt-get or synaptic prior to the Tuesday session.
